Women’s Hormones

Nutrition Advancement Women Hormone HelpImagine your body as a complex system of highways with thousands upon thousands of cars all driving from point A to Z and along the way picking up packages and taking them somewhere new and picking up something else to take it to a different location. This is the body hard at work. If we have all the packages we need and all the cars needed to drive on certain roads and all these roads are clear we have good health. Everything is getting where it needs to be on time and we have enough of every material we need to make new materials and take out the trash.

Enter inflammation, inflammation in small amounts is being produced daily and excreted daily as in taking out the trash. When inflammation is high some of those cars break down, some of those packages aren’t there to be picked up, some of the roads are blocked. What happens then?

Our body can decrease hormone production because it is making inflammation. Decrease the inflammation and the hormone levels can resume. Wondering what types of hormones are affected by inflammation? They can be related to difficult or irregular menstrual cycles, sleep cycles or mood hormones.

Take the assessment below to find out if your hormone symptoms may be related to inflammation.
