Rheumatoid Arthritis

Nutrition Advancement Rhematoid Arthritis ImagesThe cause of rheumatic conditions including rheumatoid arthrits (“RA”), lupus, and fibromyalgia is unknown. These diseases have no cure however most individuals with these conditions will note periods of no symptoms and worsening symptoms.

These conditions are marked by inflammation and we can apply highly specific anti-inflammatory diets to these folks and see great impact on their day to day lives and labs. In the case of RA we know this very complex inflammatory process begins with the production of histamine, prostoglandins, cytokines in addition to other substances which over time attack the synovial tissue and deplete bone tissue. We know food sensitive people also produce these types of inflammatory compounds.

If you have RA, lupus or fibromyalgia, the inflammation for your diet may be a significant factor in disease progression.

In a matter of weeks we can apply a specific anti-inflammatory whole foods diet and see results.

If you are dealing these symptoms it could be related to a food sensitivity:

  • joint pains
  • stiff joints
  • muscle aches
  • stiff muscles
  • ticks (facial or otherwise)
  • muscle spasms
  • muscle cramps
